Rajendra Kumar Joshi

He is working as Senior Advisor (at Associate Partner level) with Ernst & Young. He is Chairman Advisory Committee of Registered Valuers’ Organisation (RVO) of ICMAI, Member Advisory Committee of Insolvency Professional Agency (IPA) of ICMAI, Member Appellate Panel of Registered Valuer Organisation of RVO of ICMAI, Member Professional Development Committee of Institute of Cost Accountants of India and Member Cost Audit and Assurance Board etc. He is being utilised as resource person by all the three IPAs for various activities on regular basis. He has been Visiting Faculty/Guest Faculty at various Institutions. Some of them are NIFM, ICAI, IPAS of ICAI/ICSI/ICMAI, IMT Ghaziabad, Amity University Noida, Bharti Vidyapeeth, IPER Bhopal, BITS Pilani etc.

Prior to this, Rajendra has worked as commissioned officer in Accounts and Finance Branch of Indian Air Force (including deputations to civil organisations like Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) , Canteen Stores Department (CSD)), for more than 25 years, till July 2018. He also worked with a private limited company as President for about 8 month. Rajendra, in his more than 25 years of service with IAF, TRAI and CSD held various leadership positions. Important among them are Director Cost Analysis in IAF (ascertaining of benchmark prices for all the big projects, part of pricing committee for entire product range of HAL supplied products and services with annual impact of more than Rs 25,000 Crore ), Joint Advisor Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) in Economic and Financial Analysis Division (he spearheaded the committee which recommended spectrum pricing, calculated Interconnection Usage Charge (IUC) and task of assessing the stress in telecom sector etc) and DGM Finance (CFO of CSD), to cite a few. CSD is the biggest retail chain in FMCG sector with annual turnover more than Rs 21000 Crore. In nutshell he has deep understanding about finance, pricing /valuation and accounting of Aviation, Telecom Finance, and FMCG sectors.
